Summer

What a crazy summer!  I feel like I can finally come up for air now that summer semester is over.  School aside, Alex and I have had an eventful/fun summer.  We had a blast on our little road trip to Las Vegas to celebrate graduation.

We also had the chance to go to Lake Powell with my family.  It was perfect!  We had a little mishap with the ski boat on the first day but we still had a riot!  We went cliff jumping in the most beautiful place I have ever seen at Lake Powell.  Thanks mom and dad for proving a getaway every year for the whole family to get together and play all week!

Alex was so much help with my school load this semester.  I hope the University of Utah puts BreeAnn Sandoval AND Steven Alex Sandoval on my diploma when I graduate because he has made it possible!  I had a pretty heavy school load (14 credits) this semester while I was working full time so Alex helped me with my homework, quizzes and even finals!  I hate to admit this but I took an online finance class as an elective and he did all of the work for it!  I've officially hit that point in my school career where I will do ANYTHING to graduate next year.  Thanks Alex for all of your hard work on my degree.  I love you.

To celebrate the end of the semester we thought that we would do a hike and spend sometime outside.  My sister was in town so we decided to hike to the top or Timanogos.  Alex and I went to bed at 12:40 a.m. the night before the hike and woke up at 3:30 a.m. to meet my dad, Natalie, Jeremy and Jared so we could all ride together to the trail head.  We set out on our hike and 2 miles in we decided that we were probably on the wrong trail because we were really climbing.  Guess what?  We were on the wrong trail!  Lucky for us, we got a little warm up, pre hike.  So, we head up on the right trail and boy was it hard!  It was so beautiful and worth the 18 miles!

Alex and I went to Wicked after 7 long months of waiting!  I cried...words can't describe how phenomenal it was.

Tennis....we love tennis.  Eat, sleep, work, play tennis.  I was frightened to play in my first tennis tournament but it was a fun learning experience.  I didn't win my division but guess who did!?!  Alex won the championship for the annual South Jordan tennis tournament!  I'm so proud of him because he has been attending tennis workouts and investing a lot of time into it now that he is done with school.  Not to mention, little M.J. loves to play tennis too!

On the other hand, Alex and I are moving out of our little apartment to find a home.  The Sandoval's are generously letting us stay at their home while we are in transition.  We are going to move all of our belongings into a storage unit and hope that we find something fabulous soon!  Please say a little prayer for us because we are don't want to be in limbo for long!

Hooray!

Last month my dearest friends in the whole wide world got married.  I could not be more happy for them because I swear that they were born for each other!  Congrats Parker and M'Liss for FINALLY making it official after 10 years of romancing!  Please stay tuned in because I have some good pictures from our Vegas trip and our stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City!
She was the most stunning bride that I've ever laid eyes on!

College Grad!

The moment that we have been waiting for is finally here!  I am so dang proud of Alex for finishing up his bachelors in business finance from the University of Utah.  He has worked soo hard to make it possible for both of us to go to school.  Many of you know how emotional I am...this week has been FILLED with tears of joy!  We are headed to Vegas this weekend to celebrate all of his hard work!  Thanks to my sister, McCall for taking some of the best pictures I have ever seen!  I feel like I am about to give a huge "thank you" speech but we have the best support system in the whole world.  Thanks mom and dad Sandoval for buying Alex 3 of the nicest/most handsome suits in the whole world.  Thanks to both of our parents and families for all of the support and motivation.  Much love!

Spring Has Sprung..Kinda

You know it has been a long time since you've blogged when you can't even remember your password!  I can't believe that it has been almost three months since my last post because soo much has happened.  Where to start?  Well, let's start with our skiing trip.  I've been dying to go skiing all winter long so Alex and I finally got the chance to hit the slopes.  It was so much fun!  This was Alex' first time on skis and he did so well!  I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my whole marriage.  I crack right up every single time I look at these pictures.  Alex doesn't want me to post any pictures of him plowing down the mountain so just picture it.

Don't mind Alex' hair.  He is growing it out....
Also, we have spend a lot of time with our families celebrating birthdays, spring breaks, Jazz games and more!  More pictures to come!
Oh, how could I forget my precious baby?

Busy, Busy..

I hope everybody had happy holidays!  Like I always say, Alex and I have been crazy busy ever since Christmas.  I feel like we are making great progress in life and I feel like we are into the next stage of life.  I'm not sure what stage it is because we don't have children(nor are we currently planning on it) but it's great!  Alex got a job last week doing finance stuff!!  It seems like you go to school forever and you become discouraged, wondering if it will pay off.  Well, Alex graduates in May and he/we have been blessed with employment pre-graduation.  Thank you Rescue Alert.  I love you.

Big 22

I had a birthday this week and I want to thank my wonderful family and friends for everything!  Besides the huge final I had, it was a great day spent with my loved ones.  Alex was so sweet and went to a lot of work to make me breakfast, planned surprise dinner with some friends, and found the only ice cream cake in Utah.  Thanks for the great day everybody.  Much love.
